Sir Syed Global Scholar Award (SSGSA) is a mentorship program administered by Sir Syed Education Society of North America, a USA based 501 (C) (3) non-profit alumni organization of AMU. SSGSA is offered to students and alumni of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) from all faculties, including sciences, life sciences, medicine, arts, business, commerce, law, and education.
Mentorship objectives are to help the selected SSGSA scholars in achieving their dreams of higher studies abroad. An SSGSA mentor is an ambassador of the SSGSA program who materializes the vision of SSGSA. In practical terms, an SSGSA mentor’s goal is to guide his/her mentees in their admission processes into universities.
